My Bio

I mostly paint for my own interest, do have a look. I am also open for commission.

This is a rant and possible obituary for my art journey, I do hope I can look back at this post years from now and laugh at it. I really do. The rise of AI art generator is deeply alarming. As mentioned by the Youtuber artist Steven Zapata on his video "The End of Art", I quote "it is not a tool but a replacement for artists. A wrench and screwdriver is a tool to an automobile assembly worker, a robot is their replacement." As of now, AI generated content is 'just alright', but I can see that at the current trajectory, they will be far better than those of us who honed our skills and practiced painfully for years to get to where we are. Of course, as the way the AIs are sold, 'billions will be able to bring their vision to reality' I paraphrased, maybe it's a good thing? Even though that will just mean art will lose it's value and meaning. I mean why is your art special when everybody can make that same literal piece now, literally everybody get to express on the same quality as you

Felt like I have reached a new milestone in digital art. Never took a class, I learned everything by trial and error and even now I am still learning. But I can't help to feel proud of what I'm capable of making these days. After finishing the Scrapyard Elf in three days, I looked back at my past status updates all the way from the time I was still new to digital art and can't help but to feel a sense of pride at how far I have come. I don't earn money or anything from making art here, it was all a work of passion, I simply love to paint whatever my mind can conjure. I also notice that my art has gradually change from making fantasy military to something a little different, the main ones being escapist fantasy. It's a shame that I got nobody to celebrate this with as most of my published art goes unnoticed and I stopped showing them to anybody I know in real life in fear of rejection or humiliation. I guess what I'm trying to say is I felt proud and sad at the same time. Proud that

Starting to share my deviations on Instagram, but mainly the ones that are abstract or surreal. Also, quick recap and update. I've been missing from DA for about a few months now I think because of Uni and having to work part time jobs. I barely have...
